I am wondering where the time has gone, our little boy is half a year old! I decided to take some photos on his big day! He is really rolling over (and over and over) well now all the way across the living room. Today he actually was on his knees in crawling position...yikes! We have also been working on sitting up which he loves, especially when there are toys in front of him to play with! He occasionally falls backward and wonders what the heck happened.
We are really enjoying every moment with this little guy. He brings a smile to our faces every day, he is giggling a lot lately. He loves when the dogs play and wrestle around, that alone gets him to giggle... it is very cute. We have noticed a lot of strength in this little dude, he pulls hair and he's got a mean left hook, he is constantly squirming lately and getting a little hard to hold. I have a feeling my hands are going to be FULL in about a month when he can get around on his own.
I finally got to give him rice cereal. It was great, it was almost like he had watched us eat so much that he already knew how, opened his mouth and gobbled it down. Well, he does spit it out a little bit and gets messy as every kid should! Last night I pureed some steamed carrots and Mike was feeding him while I was making diner, he made the funniest faces, one time he even went cross-eyed ~ we weren't too sure he liked it but kept trying anyway!
Mike went scuba diving with his brother in law Cass last weekend, on a 3 day trip. It was a little nerve wracking for me as an hour after they left the 9.0 earthquake in Japan struck and they were giving us tsunami warnings and there was no way to get a hold of the guys on the boat. Thank God they were able to get a call out the next day and let us know they were okay. Our hearts go out to those poor people in Japan, it is one of the most devestating things we have seen.
Mike got a couple lobsters on the dive trip and we ate them with the neighbors, they were delicious!
Other than that life is good, work is a little slow but we're getting by day by day! Thats the update... Talk to y'all later!
